Here we go! Another year, another round of author shoutouts! I tried to keep this list to authors I have read more than two books of because then I know that I definitely like their work.

- Author: Roshani Chokshi
- Number of published works: Around 16
- How many have I read: 2
- Most known for book/series (for me): The Gilded Wolves series
I read two books by this author and was swept up in beauty of her words, how layered her characters are and how whimsical yet dark her plots can get! I read The Gilded Wolves for my book group and I was just blown away by it.
My next book to read by this author is: The Silvered Serpents

- Author: Luke Pearson
- Number of published works: 5
- How many have I read: 5
- Most known for book/series: Hilda
I love graphic novels but I specifically love graphic novels for kids/young people as I always love the art-styles, the whimsy of the world but also the fact that these authors do not shy away from darker and more serious moments. Hilda is an incredible series with an amazing female character at the centre!
My next book to read by this author is: I am actually just waiting for something new from him. I will probably try the TV show as well.

- Author: Alix E. Harrow
- Number of published works: 6
- How many have I read: 2
- Most known for book/series: The Six Deaths of the Saint
I was actually given the same book twice a couple of Christmas’ ago and I had to read it straight away as my family clearly thought it would be right up my alley – and it was!! I really love Alix E. Harrow’s storylines, they are super inventive and imaginative. It took me some time before reading my first book of hers The Ten Thousand Doors of January and the last story of hers I read which was The Six Deaths of the Saint but I was still blown away as well as seeing clear growth in her writing!
My next book to read by this author is: Starling House
