I never thought it would get to the point where I would be DNFing this series. I read 3 books basically in one year, struggled through book 4 and then just kept putting off book 5. After getting an extra spurt of inspiration to continue the series after watching season 2 of the adaptation I got a MAJOR plot spoiler for the ending concerning one of my favourite characters which led me to just giving up. I am not contributing all of my time to that sorry.

I had full intentions of finishing this series but I audiobooks the second book and enjoyed it but just felt no desire to continue the series. It didn’t leave me wanting more.

Another book where I audiobooked the second book and I just could not follow what was going on, the pace was super slow and I just got bored. Which is such a shame as I thought this was going to be an all-time fave. Plus I got spoiled the ending and I personally hated the choices!
