I have been a Christie fan since I was 11 watching the David Suchet adaptations with my mum. I have recently been listening to the All About Agatha podcast and this has inspired me to rank all the books I have read so far!

- Three Act Tragedy (HP #11)
- The Mysterious Affair at Styles (HP #1)
- Dumb Witness (HP#17)
- Murder in Mesopotamia (HP #14)
- The Murder on the Links (HP #2)
- The Man in the Brown Suit
- The Mystery of the Blue Train (HP #6)
- The Secret Adversary (T&T #1)
- The Big Four (HP #5)
- Death in the Clouds (HP #12)
So at first glance out of the 19 Christie books I have read this is my ranking of them. This ranking could change in the future but this is what we are working with.
19. Death in the Clouds. – Genuinely one of the worst books I have ever read.
18. The Big Four – Very underwhelming but I don’t feel as strong of a rage towards it as I do Death in the Clouds.
17. The Secret Adversary – I am not the biggest fan of Christie’s espionage books. I prefer her murder mysteries a whole lot more. This was fine but I just preferred the other books.
16. The Mystery of the Blue Train – Tbh, I can’t remember much about this book…
15. The Man in the Brown Suit – The main character Anne in this book is incredible! Normally not a massive fan on espionage but I do love Anne.
14. The Murder on the Links – Gave this a 5 star book when I read this in 2018. I do not think I would rate it that high if I read it now.
13. Murder in Mesopotamia – A lot of people hate on the ending of this book but I love it. The drama, the scandal!
12. Dumb Witness – Justice for Bob the dog! This was engaging with interesting characters and a mystery that I guessed but only because it was set up well.
11. The Mysterious Affair of Styles – THE OG! Still holds up even now.
10. Three Act Tragedy – I feel that despite not loving the book as much as some of the others lower on the list. It’s just so much more interesting plot wise than the others. Structure was just a bit lacking.
9. The Secret of Chimneys – Can’t remember much but the only thing I can remember is that I loved it.
8. Lord Edgware Dies – I love Jane Wilkinson as a character SO MUCH and this is a novel narrated by Hastings where I don’t find him infuriating hahaha.
7. Murder on the Orient Express – A lot of people might be shocked to see it at 7th but I read this having known how it ended and that book is so boring if you know how it ends. So slow.
6. Cards on the Table – Christie had me in the first half with this book but that ending was incredible!
5. Death on the Nile – Still one of my faves. I love this story so much but I did forget how big this cast is!
4. The Murder of Roger Ackroyd – THE BLUEPRINT. This book will never be adapted well due to the nature of the mechanics but it’s soooo good!
3. And Then There Were None – This would have been even higher if I wasn’t spoilt the ending!
2. The ABC Murders – Another book that had me in the first half. Another masterful book that I cannot put into words how much I love it.
- Peril at End House – MY FAVOURITE BOOK OF ALL TIME. MY FAVE POIROT. I LOVE IT SO MUCH.
