I am going to be perfectly candid here. Very rarely, do I read books that are newly released. I have been very lucky with the Netgalley books I have received recently but normally I don’t read books at least within a year after they come out with a few exceptions. There are couple of reasons for this.
- I am never up to date with new releases.
- I don’t want to spend nearly £20 on a hardcover book I would rather wait until the paperback comes out.
So I thought to help me and benefit you I would post monthly what’s coming out this month posts. Mainly to help me though because I am so out of the loop with these new books. I mean looking at the 2019 Goodreads Choice Awards I realised I had only read (1) book from Round 1. Out of all the categories!

So, we will start off with the one book I do know is coming out this month. I have been anticipating this book since I finished Thunderhead back in February of this year. The ending was so mind-blowing that I have been counting down ever since to know what is going to happen to these characters. I am sad it will be the end of the series because this trilogy has meant so much to me. This final book will solidify this trilogy in my favourite series of all time list. Current members: Harry Potter, Percy Jackson/Heroes of Olympus and Hercule Poirot.

I have wanted to read Morgenstern’s novel The Night Circus for ages but books have been piling up and up and I want to get through the ones I own first before I start new series… then this book was announced. This book encapsulates everything I love mystery, books and magic. It intrigues me so much this novel and I want to pick it up so much! I feel if I post the Goodreads blurb it will give to much away, so I won’t post it here.

So, I am just going to post the Goodreads blurb for this one as I think you will know instantly why this sounds so cool.
In a land where magic is outlawed, eight criminals led by seventeen-year-old Larkin are sent on a mission to kill an ancient evil that plagues their kingdom. Descending into an underground realm full of unspeakable horrors, Larkin and her party must use their forbidden magic to survive what lies in wait, teeth sharp and jaws deadly. As she fights for her life, Larkin finds a light in Amias, a fellow outlaw with a notorious past. Soon Larkin and Amias realize their fates are entwined. The eight of them were chosen for a reason. But as the dangers multiply and her band of felons are picked off one by one, Larkin must confront a terrible truth: They were never meant to return.
The thing that draws me into it so much is the fact that everyone is getting pick off one by one. I am interested to see why this eight individuals were sent to this underground realm. OOooo very exciting!
So there you have it. The top 3 books out this month that I am excited for. Will I read them straight away most likely not but it’s good to keep an eye on what’s coming out at the moment.
