January Wrap Up 2020

My first wrap up of 2020. And to be honest, these books were hit or miss. Not the best way to start the year but you can’t always have winners!

The Toll – Neal Shusterman (4 stars)

It’s always hard to finish a triology especially one that was anticipated as this that being said. I enjoyed a lot of it and then felt unsure of other parts of this story. The ending had me feeling a lot of feelings.

Stardust – Neil Gaiman (2 stars)

A book which I read for my Second Chance Challenge (see my 2020 Challenges post). I did not enjoy this book and out of pure spite for the challenge I forced myself all the way through it. I think I will stick to the movie.

Rebecca – Daphne Du Maurier (4 stars)

A really enjoyable classic that I feel everyone should read. My heart was pounding the entire way through this book and I couldn’t put it down!! The main character should be protected at all costs!

The Unlikely Escape of Uriah Heep – H.G. Parry (4 stars)

This book is a book for anyone who loves reading and the magic that comes with reading. It is a ode to all readers, great plot, great characters an amazing read!
