Hey, this is just a small little post to talk about what to expect from me regarding review requests. X

So I am a book blogger, booktoker and bookseller based in the UK and I am currently open to review requests from publishers, publicists and authors. But due to my commitments as a bookseller, I do have to be slightly selective with what I choose.

What I Do Read

I try to read a range of book genres but my main focus are:

• Sci-Fi
• Fantasy
• Crime/Thriller/Murder Mystery
• Speculative Fiction
• Epistolary Novels
• Horror
• Graphic Novels

I do not accept requests for poetry, religious fiction, self-help, memoirs. If you don’t see your genre, please feel free to contact me and reach out. The above is just what I read the most of.

Formatting of Books

• The formats I prefer are physical or eBook
• For eBooks I have a Kindle scribe and prefer PDF
• I also have a NetGalley account

My Review Process

Please understand that sending me a book for review does not guarantee I will read and review it immediately. I always try to read the book before publication date but I cannot always guarantee this will happen.

I talk about books on my social media channels, blog posts, Goodreads/Storygraph. Sending a complimentary book for review consideration does not guarantee a review.

If you have sent me a book and I have not talked about it on any of my platforms, it probably falls under the following categories:

• I DNFd it.
• I haven’t got round to reading it yet.
• It might be a negative review. With negative reviews and DNFs, I do not tag the author/publisher anywhere.

Please note that the criticism, if any, is subjected towards the book and not to the author or publisher.
