So, we are starting off my 2021 reading year with the Annual Reading Plan.
Moving on to my last 2020 wrap up post, we have my 2020 Challenge Recap. Please enjoy I read super hard last year!
So this is it! Another year ends which means another wrap up! This will be my third time wrapping up my year of reading! Thankfully, I did slightly better this year than I did last year.
Check it out! 🙂
I was given some amazing books this Christmas and I wanted to show them to you. Ranging from steampunk, high fantasy, silkpunk and Star Wars!!!
HAPPY NEW YEAR’S EVE! The time has finally come! After a whole year of reading I have narrowed down my 63 books to my Top 10.
This week I discuss this my worst, most surprising and most disappointing books of the 2020!
When Zachary Ezra Rawlins discovers a mysterious book in the stacks of his campus library he begins to read, entranced by tales of lovelorn prisoners, lost cities, and nameless acolytes. Suddenly a turn of the page brings Zachary to a story from his own childhood impossibly written in this book that is older than he is. A bee, a key, and a sword emblazoned on the book lead Zachary to two people who will change the course of his life: Mirabel, a fierce, pink-haired painter, and Dorian, a handsome, barefoot man with shifting alliances. These strangers guide Zachary through masquerade party dances and whispered back room stories to the headquarters of a secret society where doorknobs hang from ribbons, and finally through a door conjured from paint to the place he has always yearned for. Amid twisting tunnels filled with books, gilded ballrooms, and wine-dark shores Zachary falls into an intoxicating world soaked in romance and mystery. But a battle is raging over the fate of this place and though there are those who would willingly sacrifice everything to protect it, there are just as many intent on its destruction.
This week we are talking about the books and series I DNFed this year.
Near to the end of last year, I wrote a post listing the 20 books I wanted to prioritize and read in the new year. I want to reflect back on that list and see if I managed to read all 20 books.
So, I did this post literally a year and 2 days ago where I talked about some of my all time fave murder mysteries. This time I wanted to do it again but focusing just on the books I read in 2020.
